Lam Nho (Traditional Mashed Smoked Beef)
An authentic traditional dish with an exotic name from the Thai people of Lai Chau. 'Lam' means grilling in bamboo, and 'nho' means mashed soft. Smoked buffalo or beef is grilled, shredded, and put back into a bamboo tube with wild eggplants and mountain spices until fully infused into a rich, paste-like delicacy.
